Each bamboo pole bends gracefully under the weight of woven coconut leaves, flowers, and sacred offerings — all handcrafted by the villagers themselves.
Each Penjor symbolizes gratitude for prosperity bestowed by the Divine and represents the sacred Mount Agung, connecting the earthly and spiritual realms. To erect a Penjor is to bow to the universe and say: "We are grateful. We remember."
